Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: May 15, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes conduct that is prohibited when using VoiceLingua. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violating this AUP may lead to suspension or termination of your account.
1. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use VoiceLingua to:
- Record third parties without consent — capture, transcribe or process the voice of other people without their knowledge and consent where consent is required by law;
- Process illegal content, or content that is harassing, defamatory, hateful, or that infringes the rights of others;
- Abuse the API or service — scrape, automate at scale, share credentials, or circumvent quotas, rate limits or other technical protections;
- Resell our output commercially — repackage or resell transcriptions, translations or generated content as your own competing product or service;
- Generate unethical deepfakes — create synthetic voice or content intended to deceive, impersonate or defraud;
- Reverse engineer the service or attempt to extract, copy or derive the underlying AI models.
2. Enforcement
We enforce this policy proportionately. Depending on severity and history, we may apply the following escalating steps:
- Warning — notice describing the violation and required corrective action;
- Suspension — temporary suspension of your account or affected features;
- Permanent ban — termination of your account for serious or repeated violations.
Serious violations (such as unlawful content or non-consensual recording of others) may result in immediate suspension or a permanent ban without prior warning, and may be reported to the competent authorities.
